1967 Omega Seamaster 300 165.024 Automatic Divers Watch (Big Triangle)

An absolute vintage classic, this Omega Seamaster 300 Ref 165.024 from 1967 has everything you would expect from a collectible vintage divers watch.

It has a 42mm steel case with circular case middle, screw down case back and crown.  The inside of the case is stamped ‘CB’ representing the case manufacturer ‘Central Boite’.

The matte black dial with aged lume is in very good condition, and features the highly sought after ‘big triangle’ and sword hands.  (Dials of this kind were initially designed for use on watches commissioned for issue to Britain’s Ministry of Defence).  The bezel with Bakelite insert is in remarkable condition making it a standout piece for vintage watch enthusiasts and collectors.

Several different bracelets were used during the production of this model and this particular watch features the 1039 bracelet which was arguably Omega’s coolest vintage bracelet of its era.

The watch has had a full service and a light professional polish and comes in its original box – an absolute stunner of a watch in superb vintage condition!

Interesting fact – Tiny pinholes in the big triangle and at the 6 o clock position can be seen as this is the place where the dials were held during the original application of the luminous compound!
