1960 Jaeger-LeCoultre K880 Automatic 9ct Gold Dress Watch

A stunning gentleman’s automatic 9ct gold dress watch by the prestigious Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre dating to 1960.

The generous 34mm heavy gold case is in fabulous condition and has been sympathetically polished.  The case back has the mark ‘DTE’ the makers mark for De Travers Ltd, who supplied Jaeger-LeCoultre with a range of high quality cases during the 1950’s and 1960’s and the hallmark inside the case back dates the watch to 1960.  The classic ivory dial is highly elegant and simple and typical of the era.

The beautiful gold case houses its all original, very high calibre K880 automatic movement which is very highly regarded for its accuracy and reliability, being one of the highest quality movements manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre at the time.  Following it’s overhaul by our Swiss trained watchmaker the watch is running beautifully.

The watch comes presented in a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch travel case and we have paired the watch with a fine calf leather black strap, ready for you to wear and enjoy this 65 year old piece of vintage luxury.
