1959 18ct Gold Omega Constellation Automatic Ref 957057

The Omega Constellation was first introduced by Omega in 1952 and quickly gained popularity for its precision engineering and elegant style.

This beautiful example dates from 1959 and is cased in a heavy 18ct yellow gold Dennison case which is in superb condition for its age – the medallion of the Geneva Observatory surrounded by eight tiny stars, and the inscription ‘Constellation’ ‘Waterproof’ on the case back looks as clear and sharp as it did nearly 70 years ago, and the lugs are beautifully sharp and defined.  This fabulous vintage Omega Constellation features elegant dauphine style hands to indicate the hours, minutes and seconds and a stunning silver dial with date window at 3 o’clock.

A beautiful piece which is sure to delight watch enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
