The Seiko 6105-8110 has an iconic status in the world of vintage watches. Best known on the wrist of actor Martin Sheen’s character ‘Captain Willard’ in the 1979 film ‘Apocalypse Now’, the Seiko ref 6105-8110 was also a popular choice in real life with American troops serving in the Vietnam War, owing to its durability, readability and accuracy.
The strikingly large 44mm asymmetrical case gives the watch an impressive wrist presence and the handsome matte black dial with large lume filled markers provide a clear and legible display for the wearer.
The watch has been fully serviced and the case sympathetically polished and the watch comes paired with a tri colour NATO style strap, as well as the original and super rare Seiko ‘tyre tread’ rubber strap.
